Oliver Peoples is happy to announce its support of Food Bank For New York City, a hunger-relief organization that strives to find long-term solutions to end food poverty in the City. In honor of Food Bank’s “Go Orange” campaign to commemorate September’s Hunger Action month, Oliver Peoples will donate 20% of the sale price from a limited-edition, orange-mirrored Sheldrake sunglass to the charitable cause.
The unisex Sheldrake style is hand-sculpted of generous acetate in a neutral, buff color way. The addition of radiant orange mirror lenses, the official color of hunger awareness, is an exclusive combination designed for the “Go Orange” campaign. The iconic Sheldrake sunglass features a keyhole bridge and recognizable, Oliver Peoples silver plaque details. The Oliver Peoples logo is engraved on the visible core-wire, and embossed on the left temple end.
The limited-edition “Go Orange” Sheldrake style will be available in both the Oliver Peoples Madison (812 Madison Avenue) Oliver Peoples Soho (366 West Broadway) boutiques and online at Oliver Peoples from Sept. 23-30, 2013.
