Oliver Peoples Announces a New Collaboration Style with MyTheresa.com

Oliver Peoples is excited to announce a new collaboration style with mytheresa.com, one of the world’s leading online stores for luxury fashion. Oliver Peoples Founder and Creative Director, Larry Leight, and mytheresa.com Buying Director Justin O’Shea, met at our West Hollywood headquarters to design the collaboration sunglasses, to be released exclusively at mytheresa.com on July 18, 2013.

Mytheresa.com’s reputation as an esteemed online address for fashion is the result of offering merchandise and key exclusives with the world’s most sought-after brands. The collaboration between the online retailer and Oliver Peoples stems from the brands’ shared commitment to style that’s both modern and timeless. Their aligned philosophies celebrate quality, elegance and a cultivated consumer with a progressive sense of fashion. Leight and O’Shea ensured that their collaborative design embodies these traits, resulting in a covetable sunglass reflective of both brands.

The Oliver Peoples for mytheresa.com design is a hand-molded, double-bridge, titanium pilot featuring genuine precious mirrored lenses. The lightweight sunglasses are available in two exclusive color options, hand-selected by Leight and O’Shea, including gold with 18k White Gold lenses and Pewter with 24k Yellow Gold lenses. The temple end features a hint of enamel, which highlights the subtly embossed Oliver Peoples logo.

A short film documents the creative design process and gives a behind-the-scenes look into O’Shea’s Los Angeles visit. The Oliver Peoples for mytheresa.com collaboration sunglasses will be available for purchase on July 18, 2013, exclusively on mytheresa.com.
