Summer Sessions at Sunset 2009!
Summer is in full swing and the launch of our popular ‘Summer Sessions’ events is finally here! A celebration of music and fashion brought to you by Oliver Peoples, ‘Summer Sessions’ is an opportunity to mingle with friends, explore gorgeous eyewear at amazing discount prices, enjoy the beautiful climate of Southern California on a warm August evening and listen to live tunes provided by the best local DJs!
Each soiree will take place at the original Oliver Peoples boutique on Sunset Blvd. every Thursday night in August from 6-9pm, beginning July 30. Sunset Plaza will pulse with an eclectic mix of musical devotees, sunglass worshippers and eyewear aficionados sipping complimentary sake or beer while putting on their best mirror faces trying on frames. Attendees will be excited to browse dozens of highly coveted designer styles by Oliver Peoples, Paul Smith and Mosley Tribes at a significant discount: $99 and $119 - regularly $285-$450!
The ‘Summer Sessions’ series, initially created, organized and executed in 2001 by Oliver Peoples (Malibu) Retail Manager Rudy Manheim, is now an annual summer tradition. Music plays an integral role in contributing to the Oliver Peoples lifestyle and the brand, in partnership with Quango Music Group, has been marketing its own CDs for almost a decade. Our music compilations reflect the Oliver Peoples retail experience and capture the essence of the brand vibe. Expect the DJs at the events to spin sophisticated selections that support our lifestyle philosophy: “Music and Style, Sound and Vision… worldwide melodies to keep your life in focus.”
Chief Designer and Co-founder of Oliver Peoples, Larry Leight, may put in an appearance on some of the nights – and what better way to choose summer’s hottest accessory than to have the eyewear expert and designer himself assist you?
Everyone is welcome to attend! There is ample free parking behind the store and several nearby restaurants to enjoy dinner or snacks before, during or after the event. Merchandise will be replenished throughout each evening!
