Bagar & Glas purchased the first Oliver Peoples collection available 25 years ago and were the first authorized retailer of the brand in Scandinavia. Bagar & Glas had introduced their business 5 years prior, in old town Kornhamstorg, a very picturesque area in central Stockholm, close to the Royal Palace. They later opened a second store in Norrlandsgatan, a block away from fashion department store NK (equivalent to Harrod’s) and a high-end shopping district. Shop owners Ingela and Pelle have been great fans of the brand, dispensing the Oliver Peoples philosophy to their customers. We are proud to be a part of their 30-year history and happy to be on-hand for a few festivities!
FUN FACT: In his office, Pelle keeps an original OP-1955 in a small glass case that the store bought from the first collection.
