To begin the festivities, we hosted an exclusive media breakfast in the Ria Dining Room of the Elysian Hotel that offered an excellent view of our new store on Rush Street. Oliver Peoples CEO David Schulte and Creative Director Larry Leight were on-hand to mingle and discuss the history and personality of the brand. Later in the evening, the new Chicago boutique held an invite-only Grand Opening soiree for local media and tastemakers to experience the store, meet the staff and peek at the product, which included the Limited Edition “Oliver Peoples" Chicago custom aviator, created especially for the occasion. Tasty treats were provided by BOUTIQUE BITES and DJ Allen Voskanian created the atmosphere by spinning Oliver Peoples-approved tracks. Indy artist GRANT WILLIAM THYE also produced this amazing sidewalk chalk panel just in front of the boutique entrance - thank you!
